Senior Services

Jefferson Area Board for Aging‘s Greene County program is staffed with a nurse and  a volunteer coordinator. A geriatric case manager is available to visit as needed, and its Community Center is open for meals, activities, field trips and socializing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon, culminating with a hot meal served on the days the center is open.  In addition, home delivered meals and food bags are distributed out of the Community Center to county elders, and residents can attend an Adult Care Center in Charlottesville.
